The Phonos Ensemble
The Phonos Ensemble comprises guest principal players from the country’s leading period instrument ensembles, including the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Academy of Ancient Music and English Baroque Soloists.
Their programme covers some of the great peaks of the High Baroque, including Bach’s glorious Concerto for Two Violins in D minor.
The Phonos Ensemble members are: Julia Kuhn – violin, John Crockatt – violin, Anna Curzon – violin, Claudia Norz – violin, Isabel Meuser – viola
The concert starts at 3pm and tickets may be bought on the door. They cost £15 for adults, £5 students and are free to those aged eight to 25 under the Cavatina Scheme.
