Stroud care home opens doors to ‘dementia friends’
People in Stroud are invited to find out more about what it takes to become a ‘dementia friend’ when the team at Care UK’s Scarlet House care home in Ebley hosts a free information session on Friday 28th August from 11am to 12.30pm.
An initiative from the Alzheimer’s Society, ‘dementia friends’ is the biggest ever programme designed to change public perceptions and encourage better understanding of what it means to live well with dementia.
