Language of the Fans and 18th Century Fashions Talk

A fun and delightful costumed talk and demonstration by Kerry Wolf, National Trust Conservation Assistant, Hatchlands Park, on how Georgian ladies used coded signals in the ballroom to attract a secret admirer. Also learn some interesting facts about 18th Century life and the truly bizarre lengths women went to with their hair, make-up and gowns to perfect the amazing fashions of Georgian England. The price is £5 per person and refreshments will be served at the beginning, proceeds go to Shoo
