'The Pirate Queen' by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg
Hounslow Light Opera proudly presents the UK premiere of this colourful and exciting show by the creators of Les Miserables. It tells the story of 16th century Irish heroine Grace O'Malley, clan chieftain and pirate, contrasted with the court of another powerful woman - Queen Elizabeth I. The show builds towards a confrontation between the two women, based on historical fact.
