Washington Old Hall - How the Hall was saved
For the month of October to mark 60th anniversary of Washington Old Hall first opening to the public we will have an exhibition to about how the hall was saved by the local community. Led by Fred Hill a local school master 1930's a preservation committee raised the profile and sufficient funds to buy and restore Washington Old hall. Their efforts and forethought have saved the hall forever for everyone. Booking Not Needed.
