Cappella Singers concert Minchinhampton parish church 7.30pm on Saturday 17th October

The Cappella Singers have teamed up with a brass ensemble to celebrate a local event in a most unusual way. They will perform Music from Eight Centuries, starting in 1315 and ending with a joyful work by Stephen Gowland commissioned specially for this concert. We start with short medieval pieces including the Agincourt carol and include Tudor works by e.g. Byrd, music from Handel's Fireworks Music, a Victorian anthem (Wesley) and then Parry and Vaughan Williams, both with local ties.
