Pärt & Bach
This year Keswick Hall Choir is celebrating Arvo Pärt’s 80th birthday with a performance of his monumental St John Passion (Passio). One of the most innovative composers of recent times, his music is regularly featured on Radio and TV as well as in the concert hall. Complementing this, Norfolk-born violinist Hannah Perowne will play J S Bach’s 2nd violin Partita BWV 1004. Its final movement, the Chaconne, will be accompanied by settings of chorale melodies.
