UCPO Lent Term Concert
The University of Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra is pleased to present our Lent term concert.
We are excited to announce that former National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain principle cellist (2013-14) Leo Popplewell will be performing Elgar’s popular concerto in E minor. The concert will also feature the overture to Weber’s acclaimed opera Der Freischütz and Variations on a Theme by Haydn (also known as the Saint Anthony Variations) by master of the variation form, Brahms.
Conductors
Concert commences at 8pm and is expected to run until around 10.30pm. Tickets are £10/£5 paid in advance or £12/£7 on the door and can be reserved by emailing tickets@ucpo.org.uk.
