Caerphilly Flower Festival
The annual Flower Festival in Caerphilly is on 25th, 26th & 27th May, where there will be Floral displays in many of the churches around the town centre. There will also be a children’s wheelbarrow competition, which will take place to get those little green fingers working! This year enthusiastic individuals and local groups are being encouraged to get involved in this fun project. Make gardening an enjoyable task rather than a chore, roll up those sleeves and be creative. The event is now in its 8th year, and record-breaking displays from all sectors of the event are essential to make this the best one yet, offering more and more for the visitor to enjoy. With local churches and societies already planning their displays, this year is set to be blooming marvellous! more

Come join us for this fantastic event WILD event, where you can sample some fantastic culinary delights and meet the RSPB! There is lots to see and do for all the family. Pop along and visit the RSPB stand and have a go at one of our family activities and discover what wonderful wildlife you can see around the park. Discover new ways of attracting our feathered friends to your gardens, the fantastic opportunities we have for children and families to get your children interested in wildlife. Give us your support and see how you can enjoy wildlife this summer! more

Caerphilly Town Centre will host its first Food Festival on 26th May, offering delicious smells and sizzling sounds at food stalls through the town and a feast of entertainment for all ages. The town centre will be closed to traffic for the day as the bustling food market lines the streets with tantalising treats for the tongue available from a variety of stalls. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the skating tomato and the mad chefs! Foodies will be in their element as cookery demonstrations accompany the festival, offering inside information on how produce is made and how to improve your own culinary skills. The Visit Caerphilly Centre will be host to the feature cookery programme, packed with chefs and producers presenting their creative cuisine. more
