Peregrines in the Clocktower.
Peregrines in the Clocktower. While you’re out shopping, we’ll be high above your head, working hard to raise a family in the clocktower of Cardiff City Hall. For us, tall buildings are just like cliffs – perfect places to build nests and spot food. See our spectacular high-speed hunts through telescopes from the lawn of City Hall, Cardiff. So come along to see us, there are currently 2 of us perched on the tower, protecting our 4 eggs. See if you can spot us through the telescopes and binoculars as we swoop around the Cardiff city centre skies. Give us your support and see how you can enjoy wildlife this Spring! We are there Wednesdays to Sunday throughout the spring and summer. more

Exhibition: Cardiff Before Cardiff
Cardiff before Cardiff is an exhibition which stands apart from the majority of photographic shows. It comprises of and combines social history, a mystery story, social media, classic documentary narrative and, above all, some amazing imagery. The original work, by Cardiff photographer Keith S Robertson, lay undiscovered for years until it was found by another photographer, Jon Pountney. Through a blog, Facebook and local media coverage, Jon set about finding out what became of Keith and the many subjects of his incredible photographs. This exhibition is the result of Jon’s efforts to discover more about Keith’s work, whilst also re-imagining the images for a new generation. It is the story of an old Cardiff, of its people and of the modern city it is today. more

Can-can Workshop in Cardiff
Made famous in the cabarets of Paris, the can-can is a perfect blend of excitement, energy and enthusiasm. This playful and spirited dance has been a firm favourite in Paris since the early 19th century and is a perfect blend of excitement, energy and a certain je ne sais quoi. We will teach you many of the time-honoured and globally adored moves, creating a high- (or not so high) kicking, skirt-swishing, whooping extravaganza. We celebrate the traditional French can-can with the well-known spécialités such as the high-kicking battement, the famous can-can chorus line and of course a flash or two of the derrière! We will provide the essential full frilled skirts for everyone - come create the Cardiff cancan troupe! more
