Mature, wildlife friendly garden planted to provide all-yr interest. Upper terrace with alpines in troughs and bowls. Lower terrace featuring 1 of 2 ponds with connecting stream and cascade. Bog garden, rock gardens, lawn alpine bed, wilder areas, mixed borders with trees, shrubs and perennials. Featuring azaleas, rhododendrons, primulas. Open:Sat 26, Sun 27 May (2-6). more

A 2-acre country garden, set on a sloping site at the edge of the Peak District. With family ties from 1947, the garden has been developed by the current owners over a 35 yr period, as a means of accommodating the wide variety of plants, habitats and water systems. Many paths through the plantings provide interest for all. Childrens trails and play equipment. Open:Suns 27 May, 24 June (12-5). more
