Willow workshop - Garden Structures and Basket Forms
Willow workshops for all abilities.. Using willow and other natural fibres learn to make simple structures. Learn a variety of techniques for sculpture and hangings for interior or exterior pieces. Students will be able to achieve a selection of sample piece showing a variety of techniques and some experimental pieces, combining weaving, wrapping and braiding. Maggini Quartet play Haydn, Schubert & Beethoven in the stunning Oxburgh Chapel
The one completed movement of Schubert’s unfinished quartet D703 is the haunting centrepiece to this programme which opens with a wonderful example of Haydn’s genius for the medium. The concert ends with Beethoven’s Op.18 No.4, which abounds in contrasts of mood as much as any of the composer’s early quartets. This is the final concert of ’Magginis in.. more

Beachamwell Open Gardens
Beachamwell Village Open Gardens Day. Sunday 27th May 12 noon – 5 p.m. Large Variety of Open Gardens, The Novinka! Folskaband musicians will be performing on the Village Green and in The Old Rectory Garden during the afternoon, Organ Recitals in the Church, Ploughman’s Lunches, Afternoon Teas, Variety of Stalls, Raffle and Tombola. Adults £3.00 and children free. In aid of St Mary’s.. more
