Madame Butterfly - Opera in the Barn -- at Crow’s Hall
A gala afternoon/evening, performed by London Festival Opera (www.londonfestivalopera.co.uk) The Opera will be a highlight performance in full costume with a select chamber ensemble. Teas will be served in the Barn or garden prior to the performance and drinks and canapés will be available during the interval. After the performace quests are free to picnic in the barn or grounds. Organised by Suffolk Plant Heritage in partnership with Helmingham Hall, this event is now in its 13th year. It is held in beautiful surroundings and has many attractions including some of the local National Plant Collections, specialist nurseries, plant doctors and four informal half -hour talks on gardening topics. 800 plants of chrysanthemum Spartan Display and Spartan Linnet will be given.. more

Companion Dog Show in aid of Newfoundland Welfare to be held at Clopton Village Hall, Sunday 27th May 2012. Entries taken from IOam, Judging at II.OOam. Pedigree and non pedigree dogs welcome. Lots of prizes to be won. Rosettes to 5th place. B.I.S. R.B.I.S. B.P.I.S. Best Newfoundland, plus other special rosettes. Crossbreed, rescue and veteran classes. Homemade refreshments and super raffle. Show.. more
