The Galloway Association of Glasgow : Winter Meeting. The pre-AGM speaker is Ian Ruthven whose talk will centre round "Louis McGuffie" from Wigtown, who was awarded the Victoria Cross during World War 1. Louie was an acting Sergeant in the KOSB, and was killed in action at Wytschaete, Belgium in 1918. more
