The Wells And Mendip Museum plays host to this craft fair featuring exlusively hand made goods. The Hilliard Society of Miniaturists 30th Annual International Exhibition
The exhibition will have around four hundred original paintings and sculpture on display in the lovely main hall of the Town Hall in Wells. It is the largest exhibition of its kind in the Westcountry with some of the leading miniaturists from all around the country as well as from abroad. Swans of Wells 2012 - a free public art event in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee
A giant flock of 60 swan sculptures will be displayed in public places in and around the cathedral city of Wells in Somerset to celebrate England’s smallest city and the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s reign. The 5ft swans have been sponsored by local businesses and transformed into stunning individual works of art by talented artists. After a summer on the streets being admired.. more
