Red Kites of Ceredigion
Patrolling the beautiful, wild forests of Ceredigion can be hungry work, but we red kites have been lucky enough to find the kite feeding station near the lake at Forestry Commission Wales Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Visitor Centre. Meat is put out for us every day, so keep your eyes on the skies as we swoop in from all directions en route to the lake-side dinner table. With so much so see free of.. more

Man v Horse Marathon
Inspired by a conversation in his pub, in 1980 Gordon Green, landlord of the Neuadd Arms, overheard the claims of one of his patrons who professed that over a significant distance across country, man was the equal of any horse. Deciding this was a matter for a public challenge, the Man versus Horse Marathon was born. The race has been run each year since, continually attaining new levels of.. more

Join Noel "Water Supply" Hughes for a gentle evening walk down the Elan Valley Trail and get an insiders insight into the operation of the Elan Valley Reservoir System. This 5 mile linear walk starts at Graig Goch Dam and finishes at the Filter Beds where refreshments will be provided together with transport back to Graig Goch Dam. Bring stout footwear and waterproofs. Dogs on leads please. more
