Children’s Hospice Week, the UK’s only awareness and fundraising week for children’s hospices, takes place 18-25 May, culminating in Superhero Friday – a special hero inspired day of fundraising. Children’s hospices help seriously ill children who are not expected to reach adulthood and their families. Just like superheroes, children’s hospices are there for people when they need them.. more

The Hilliard Society of Miniaturists 30th Annual International Exhibition
The exhibition will have around four hundred original paintings and sculpture on display in the lovely main hall of the Town Hall in Wells. It is the largest exhibition of its kind in the Westcountry with some of the leading miniaturists from all around the country as well as from abroad. First time visitors are amazed by the quality and detail of the work and patrons eagerly return year after.. more
