Founded at 14 Parkway in Welwyn Garden City, in 1934 by James and Lisa Sheridan, Studio Lisa produced family portraits, press and advertising pictures. They played a key role in recording the growth of Welwyn Garden City and were famously awarded a royal warrant. This exhibition will feature photographs produced by the studios as well as original documents and memorabilia. more
Between September 2010 and August 2011 the Welwyn Garden City Heritage Trust ran a project in the town to encourage residents to learn about the history and development of the town since it’s foundation. The project gathered oral histories, photographs and research materials - examples of which are on display in this exhibition. more
