Newly planted in 2011, the garden includes a formal rose garden, woodland walk and a small but productive potager. There are many beautiful mature trees, including Wellingtonias, Cedars and Holm Oaks. From the central parterre the views down to the River Ouse and across the valley are stunning. Swans, wildfowl and kingfishers can be seen frequently along this stretch of the river. The garden also has a chinoiserie bridge over a natural spring pond. Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"We had an excellent response from our posting on WhereCanWeGo.com, and it was responsible for drawing folk from a wide area to our event; we recommend you as being the most effective form of publicity around." - Barbara , Village Celebration Food & Crafts Fairs.
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
