Wirral Coastal Walk
Organised by the Rotary Club of North Wirral the Wirral Coastal Walk is a well-known annual event in the Wirral calendar and probably the biggest of its kind in the North West. The Walk follows the Wirral coastline from Seacombe Ferry on the River Mersey to Thurstaston Country Park on the River Dee, a distance of 15 miles. At the finish buses will be available to transport you back to Seacombe Ferry or to West Kirby railway station for a small donation to RCNW. The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is the only charity that raises funds to directly benefit Clatterbridge cancer patients. We are dedicated to providing outstanding cancer care to around 26,000 patients each year and we would love you to join our team of walkers and help raise vital funds for the The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. more

A fun day out for all the family. Come and join us in Arrowe Park for the doggy day of the year. Everybody welcome and every breed and crossbreed of dog is catered for in our numerous fun and novelty classes, plenty of which the kids can get involved in. We are holding a WALCSS German Shepherd Rally (which means you will see many, many variations of the noble German Shepherd present on the day, from black to white, long coat to standard, English to Germanic) We also have a Companion Dog Show running alongside this all day which has junior classes & novelty classes. Toilet facilities. Present with us on the day will be Canine Health Concern available all day to help with any concerns you may have about your pet’s health. We are looking for traders and stall holders for our event. more
