Maggini Quartet play Beethoven and Mendelssohn at Clermont House, Norfolk
The most joyful and energetic of Beethoven’s Op.18 quartets opens this concert which also features John Ireland’s gloriously melodic first quartet, remarkable in that it was written when the composer was 15 and before he had had a single composition lesson. This concert is the first of ’Magginis in Breckland,’ a new chamber music festival founded by the Maggini Quartet. Having performed in Norfolk for over twenty years, this festival celebrates the Quartet’s special connection with local audiences and promises to bring music of the highest calibre to the local community. more

"One of our homes had a Red Cross Open day recently and 30% of the visitors had seen the event listed on your site"
- Wellburn.
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!."
