Adam Hahn: Bloodlines
Have you ever been told that you look like someone? Or looked in the mirror and seen the face of a parent or sibling? In ‘Bloodlines’ Hahn investigates physical similarities in families by making composite paintings of siblings. By layering images of brothers and sisters, a new face emerges with traces of family members past and present. He was inspired by Francis Galton (1822-1911) who aimed to discover common traits among criminals, the chronically sick and ethnic groups. more

"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!."
