An evening celebrating great English music written for chamber orchestra. Tudor Sugarcraft exhibition
Exhibition of Tudor Sugarcraft on loan from Fairfax House Museum, York, in the recently restored banqueting chamber of the Tudor Turret House at Sheffield Manor Lodge. The display features a number of sugar constructions including a unique model of St Paul’s, which recreates the design for a banquet hosted by cardinal Wolsey for Henry VIII. Also on display the service of tableware by ceramic artist Frances Priest, with designs based on the fabulous cieling of the banqueting room, and contemporary sugarcraft created by the Sheffield branch of the British Sugarcraft Guild. Tours of the Turret House feature costumed interpretation of the story of Bess of Hardwick and Mary Queen of Scots at Sheffield Manor Lodge. more
Open on Fridays and Saturdays only from 11.00-15.00. Free entry to Discovery Centre, Tour of Turret House and Sugarcraft exhibition Adults £1.50 Chidren 50p. Please note that the Sugarcraft exhibition is at the top of a spiral staircase. The Discovery Centre is fully accessible.

Beer and Bangers comedy night
Kick back and relax with an evening of side splitting comedy, the city’s best Real Ales from Abbeydale Brewery and our famous Whirlow Hall Farm bangers on the barbeque. Tickets are £22, which includes a pint of Real Ale (wine or soft drinks are available too) a Whirlow banger in a bun and what promises to be a fantastic evening of comedy.
