The Forgotten genius of Edward Bainbridge Copnall
Edward Bainbridge Copnall was an accomplished glass artist, sculptor and portrait painter. He is best known for his glass and sculptural work and became a leading figure in British Public Sculpture from the 1930s to the 1960s. Several of his vast artworks were made for the Churchill Shopping Precinct in Dudley and further examples of his sculpture can be found on the exterior of the RIBA building in Portland Place.
