We’ll be heading to the woodlands on Merthyr Mawr Estate for an autumn forage. In this foraging adventure, you will discover what is available in the autumn woodland wild food larder. You will learn how to recognize delicious wild food, what to stay away from and how to forage safely and sustainably.
Autumn is the season for nuts, roots, and fruit. We will be looking for rowans, sloes, damsons, rose hips, elderberries, a variety of nuts and roots such as dandelion and burdock.
