Stephens House

Hospitals for Heroes, opens in the basement on the 1st of June and closes on the 30th of September . 100 years since the Battle of the Somme, we remember Avenue House as a VAD hospital during WWI and as the RAF Central Hospital from 1919. The treatment of casualties is illustrated with personal accounts, including the amazing story of one highly decorated airmen of the Royal Flying Corps. The Exhibition is free but donations are welcome.
