Oxburgh Hall - Scything Day

A chance to watch our expert scythers cutting the meadow grasses in the orchard, a much calmer and fitter way to cut grass rather than using mowers and strimmers! Richard from Emorsgate Seeds will be explaining why this ancient art is important and how you can create a wildflower meadow from scratch. You can even have a go at using a scythe yourself. Booking Not Needed. Dogs on leads welcome.
A National Trust Event - Gates open 10:30. Start 10:30. End 16:00. Free Entry.
