Lacock Abbey, Fox Talbot Museum and Village - Capability Brown - stitched through the lens
Beautiful embroideries inspired by the landscape design of Capability Brown will be on display in the Stables tea room in the quintessential English village of Lacock. Members of the Bristol Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild have created small stitched textiles to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Capability Brown.
The artists have been inspired by the key motifs from Brown's work and also by the present day gardens of Lacock Abbey.
