The Crossness Engines Trust - South London's Hidden Gem

Public Open Day - Come and see the most extravagant of the grand Victorian steam powered pumping stations. Built in the 1860’s as part of Joseph Bazalgettes famous sewer system. The building is one of only two Grade 1 industrial buildings in London. It has been restored and includes the most amazing cast ironwork.
