The Alfred Powell Arts and Crafts Bowl
Afternoon Talk with Heather Dawson
Alfred Hoare Powell (1865–1960) was an English Arts and Crafts architect, designer and painter of pottery. He believed that architecture and the crafts should create an organic whole with the natural world, and that industrialization and bad building robbed people of the conditions in which they could be happy and create good work. Join Heather Dawson in this afternoon talk to hear about his life and achievements.
