Exhibition: Vieil Ami by Joanne Henshaw
Joanne uses mixed media to create layered, textured
art on canvas. Her work represents various moods
featuring hand-drawn images and sometimes
photographs to create the basis of her technical
process. These canvasses combine dramatic and
fine art styles.
Objects, film, locations and images become friend or
foe over the years; these tangible images represent
those pivotal connections between nostalgic imagery
and the human psyche.
