Heritage Open Day: A rare chance to get inside this Grade I listed, late 17th and early 18th century merchant’s house. Fine panelled first floor room with decorative plaster ceiling. Beautifully restored by the Tyne & Wear Building Preservation Trust. Now in use as offices. A pop-up tea room will provide refreshments.
