WSNTA Illustrated Talk: The Silk Road Today

Alistair and Gill Campbell travelled the Silk Road from Almaty to Ashgabat. They passed through four ex-Soviet republics, all in the process of becoming independent nations. They experienced secret police and tedious bureaucracy as well as welcoming families and truly awe inspiring architecture. They met many craftsmen and traders who, like their ancestors, are the men and women of the Silk Road.
