A selection of facsimile sketches by Beatrix Potter, drawn whilst holidaying at Melford Hall exhibited in our Banqueting House. Beatrix Potter would regularly take extended holidays at Melford Hall between 1899 and 1916 and her name and doodles can be found in a number of visitor books in the house. Beatrix would always carry a camera or sketchbook with her, and would sketch, paint or photograph. This exhibition will show some of these sketches and paintings, some of which are rarely on show. Th
