Heddon Valley - Autumn Deer Walk on West Exmoor
Our Ranger, Marcus, is doing a series of early morning walks over the year to give an insight into the life of the Red deer that make their home on Exmoor. Marcus will guide a walk in the places where we are mostly likely to see the deer at this time of the year. Autumn is rutting time: the biggest stag rounds up his hinds and bellows to warn off others. Sometimes a fight breaks out and those mighty antlers clash.
