Changing Beliefs: the Archaeology of the Christian Conversion. This talk draws on documentary sources and the region's rich archaeological record to present an overview of the adoption of Christianity in seventh-century East Anglia. The evidence from cemeteries, settlements and early churches clearly indicates that the East Anglian conversion was widespread at a grassroots level and changed the Anglo-Saxon landscape forever.
