RUSHDEN 1940s’ HOME FRONT WARTIME WEEKEND
On Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th October 2016 the Rushden Historic Transport Society (RHTS) journeys back to wartime England, recreating the sights and sounds of Home Front life. Time travel will be assisted by a steam-train passenger service, steam-driven road and rail vehicles, 1940s’ civilian and military vehicles, living history displays, archive film shows, the Law at War and more.
