Freddie Crossley: Flint
Freddie Crossley’s workshop is in the heartof the South Downs. It is made of flint, as is his house. The landscape is littered with these stones and some of the shards are tools made by people who lived on that land, tens of thousands of years ago. The tools fit into our hands as if nothing has changed. Freddie’s contemporary and refined domestic ware seeks a deep-rooted connection to the past and future of our landscape.
