Heritage Open Day: The life size sculpture in bronze, of two wounded soldiers in Gallipoli, which depicts the events during which, over some 48 hours, Trooper Potts rescued Trooper Andrews from certain death from in front of the Turkish trenches (Gallipoli 21-23 August 1915) and became the only man from Reading to be awarded the VC.
