Heritage Open Day: Look back to 1766 through a secret medieval door!
Our secret medieval doorway was blocked up around 1766 and we have no idea why! Find out what was happening in Horningsea the year the doorway was filled in. Dr John Addenbrooke set up a hospital in Cambridge and an unknown embroiderer stitched one of our altar cloths with the date '1766.'
