St. Michael's Parish Church
Heritage Open Day: Originally founded by Queen Eleanor of Castile in 1278 as a forest chapelry, this lovely church is well worth a visit, especially the Savage Chapel dating from 1504. Its more modern additions boast a series of beautiful stained glass windows from the famous William Morris studio created from designs by Edward Burne-Jones. There is also a magnificent 17th century marble monument by Stanton.
