Heritage Open Day: St Margaret of Antioch, Wray on Windermere is the estate church for Wray Castle, the 19th century mock gothic pile built for a Liverpool surgeon on the north western shore of Lake Windermere. As well as the church, the surgeon used his wife's money to built a vicarage and incorporate several farms and a hunting lodge.
