Carlisle Cathedral - Fratry and Prior's Tower
Heritage Open Day: Come and visit two of Carlisle's hidden gems- the Prior's Tower with its Tudor painted ceiling (Saturday only), and the medieval Fratry building. To celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday there will be a special exhibition over the HODs weekend. The exhibition will illustrate events and developments at the Cathedral over the period 1926 to 2016. It will draw upon the archives of the Cathedral to show a record of the Cathedral’s life over the period of the Queen’
