Old Brampton Church Bell Ringing
Heritage Open Day: Listen to Old Brampton Church Bells ringing for Challenge 500: Part of a magnificent chorus of 500 ringing bands, simultaneously sounding out across the country on Thursday 8th September 2016 between 6pm and 7pm.
The 6 bells are hung in the Norman church tower beneath a Medieval broach spire.
The heaviest bell weighs 12cwt or 614kg in note Ab.
They will be rung by experienced ringers in the traditionally English style of full circle ringing. See www.bellringing.org for furt
