The Gibberd Garden
Heritage Open Day: The Gibberd Garden is Grade II listed and was created by Sir Frederick Gibberd, a Modernist architect and the master-planner of Harlow New Town. He acquired the site in 1957 with the intention of remodelling the house and garden, and from 1972 (on his marriage to Patricia, Lady Gibberd) he filled the grounds with sculptures, ceramic pots and architectural pieces.
