Loughton Cemetery and Chapel
Heritage Open Day: Loughton Cemetery was laid out in 1887 by a burial board and the Chapel built in the 1890s. The Chapel is not usually open to the public so this is an opportunity to come and see inside this historic building. There are a number of Commonwealth war graves and Victorian memorials in the cemetery. Visitors can come and see inside the Grade II listed Chapel which has attractive stained glass windows.
