Longworth RC Chapel
Heritage Open Day: One of the few surviving fourteenth century pre reformation chapels still in use today. The building was severely damaged by fire in the 1980s when the adjacent convent (now Frome Court) was derelict but received a grant for a replacement floor, re-roofing (whilst preserving the original beams) and general cleaning. The Alter was slightly damaged, and two statues remain. Visitors can also watch a powerpoint presentation of the history of the chapel, and view a large photograph
