Bellringing at St Swithuns Church

Heritage Open Day: The church bells will be rung between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday 8th September. This will coincide with around 500 other churches in England ringing at the same time! Visitors will be able to see the ringers performing the ring. Ringers will available to answer questions. Visitors will also be able to try to experience ringing for themselves. Bell ringing of this kind is unique to Britain and a few Commonwealth countries.

Thu 8 Sep:Demonstration/ringing 1800-2000. Sat 10 Sep:Talks/displays/demonstration 1000-1300. Free Entry.
