Becoming North Watford

Heritage Open Day: A rural landscape of farmlands before the arrival of the railway in the 1830s, this was the first area of Watford outside its heart in the High Street to be developed. We will see the houses built for the railway workers, commercial buildings built as the town expanded and catch a tantalising glimpse of North Watford's rustic past.
