Steam Tug Cervia

Heritage Open Day: Registered as a National Historic Ship, the 1945 Steam Tug Cervia is a fascinating and rare example of steam ship development. Originally named Empire Raymond, and based on a 1928 design, the Cervia was built in Aberdeen for the Ministry of War Transport. Sold in 1946 the Cervia was then used for several years for towing and docking duties on both sides of the English Channel. Come and explore the last surviving Empire class steam tug in the UK!
Sat 10 Sep:1200-1600. Free Entry.
